GATE 2017 Eligibility Criteria
Get Eligibility Criteria for GATE 2017 details. GATE 2017 Exam is an online examination conducted to test the understanding of candidates in undergraduate subjects of Engineering, Technology, Architecture and in postgraduate subjects of science.
GATE Score can be used for admissions in various Post graduate programs in various IIT’s, NIT’s and other centrally funded institutions. Nowadays various PSU’s are also hiring with the GATE Score.

and United Arab Emirates must have completed or are in the final year of their Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology or Post-graduate (M.Sc.) degree in any relevant science subject.
Note: Eligibility criteria certificate as applicable shall only be uploaded in application and NOT to be sent by post. If a candidate is pursuing any higher degree or already obtained a degree higher than that mentioned in the above table, then the candidate can select the minimum required qualifying degree while filling the application form. In case, a candidate has completed one of the qualifying examinations as mentioned above in 2016 or earlier, he/she has to submit the degree certificate/provisional degree certificate/course completion certificate/membership certificate issued by the society or institute. In case, the candidate is expected to complete one of the qualifying criteria in 2017 or later as mentioned above, he/she has to submit Provisional Certificate Letter (as shown below) or a copy of marks card for section A of AMIE etc. Candidates with backlog (arrears/failed subjects) in any of the papers in their qualifying degree should upload a copy of any of the mark sheet of the final year issued from the Institute where studying. Internet downloaded mark sheet shall not be accepted.
